I'm still working on this site. If things don't work, they will soon.
This website is to let you know what is in store when you decide to buy a mobile home in the State of Texas.
The mobile home industry wants you to know it as a "Manufactured" Home.
No matter what they call it, it is still a mobile home.
My suggestion. Don't Buy a Mobile Home! You don't have time for the troubles.
Not only that, but if you purchase a "Home/Land" package, your chances are greater of being a victim.
Then you learn about how your State and Federal Officials do not have a clues as to what they are doing. It is like a circus. There are a lot of clowns we have elected into office.
Click on certain words on this page to get a more in-depth account of what has taken place as we have battled for the past four years in getting the retailer and manufacturer to do warranty work for a consumer.
State Officials could care less about the people who voted for them. Find out how the State passes the buck. When I say State, I mean everyone from the local officials, the County commissioner in Precinct 4, the Judge, the Engineer who all signed off on the Subdivision Regulations. the State Representative, House District 52, Senator, District 5, the Governor's Office, Congressman John Carter's office and State Representative Dan Gattis. They won't even call me back as they promised. It's been months and counting Mr. District 52 Rep. What a way to get my vote.
What is even worse, There is more fraud to the government in all our paperwork. Documents that were falsely represented. I've tried for over three years to bring this to the attention of my elected officials. They all refuse to check into my claims. They believe what is on the paperwork they have. Not mine.
Visit some sites that will help you make a decision. My opinion is that the consumer educate themselves now before they buy one. Otherwise, you'll have to do it later. And it will be your fault.... Trust me.
Here is a list of some sad situations for consumers. And some Humor:
